Synopsis: Set in London at the height of the Blitz, young Alice Spencer and her dear friend Alfred are forced to shelter in a tube station. When Arthur is quarantined after contracting tuberculosis, Alice is determined to find solace in them through the pages of their favorite story, “Alice’s Adventures in Wonderland”. However, when the book is confiscated by the sternly dutiful Nurse Cross, Alice takes it upon herself to tell the story by heart. What results is a tragically heartfelt exploration of grief, loss, and the realities of growing up in an uncertain world.
