Singin’ in the Rain Auditions
We’re happy to announce public auditions for our upcoming production of the greatest movie musical of all time!
Basic Info:
Auditions will be held August 28th (1-3pm) and August 29th (6-8pm) at the Rio Grande Theatre (211 N Main St.)
Materials will be given to actors starting in September, with rehearsals beginning in November. However, the director is asking performers to meet with choreographers throughout September and October to learn basics in all styles of dance. Schedules are not set in stone.
AUDITIONS WILL CONSIST OF: A 1-2 minute cut of a song from the show, learning and performing a short dance from the show, and cold reads from the script for the main characters.
PRODUCTION WILL OPEN JANUARY 21ST AND RUN FOR TWO WEEKENDS.
